Responsibilities
- Research & Strategy: Identify and analyze potential funding sources, including government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Proposal Writing: Develop and write high-quality, persuasive grant applications and narratives that align with donor priorities.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports and financial statements for current grantees to ensure compliance and build long-term relationships.
- Calendar Management: Maintain an organized tracking system for all grant deadlines and submission requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, preferably within the non-profit or public sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software (e.g., ZoomGrants, Fluxx).
- Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information into clear, concise proposals.
