Responsibilities
- Assist medical staff with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens accurately
- Maintain patient records and electronic health systems
- Ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations and protocols
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide direct patient support and comfort during procedures
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Texas Healthcare Technician certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to work independently on weekend shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
