Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for construction and maintenance
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and concrete work
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety compliance checks
- Assist in traffic control and public coordination during projects
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on site plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of public works/construction experience
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
