Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for public construction projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspection
- Collaborate with engineering teams for precise project execution
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with GPS survey equipment and construction software
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
