Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations of roads, parks, and municipal facilities
- Coordinate equipment fleet management and preventative maintenance programs
- Lead a team of 5-8 technicians in executing infrastructure repair projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and municipal safety regulations
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment with budget oversight
- Investigate citizen-reported infrastructure issues and implement solutions
- Prepare monthly performance reports for department leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of public works or infrastructure maintenance experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- Certification in Public Works Management (APWA preferred)
- Experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems and repair methods
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and physical environments
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required
