Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling on public works sites.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging, and barricading work zones to ensure worker and public safety.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Perform general maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards is preferred.
- Reliable work history and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
