Responsibilities
- Perform heavy construction tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, loaders, dump trucks) with precision
- Install and maintain public utilities (water mains, storm sewers)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
