Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, loaders) under supervision
- Perform road maintenance, drainage installation, and utility repairs
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and site safety protocols
- Assist in concrete pouring, asphalt paving, and landscape restoration
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades on complex projects
- Document work progress and maintain project cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with trenching, shoring, or excavation a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
