Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, repairs, and asphalt/concrete work
- Conduct storm drain cleaning and sewer system inspections
- Execute snow removal and emergency response operations
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment records
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Participate in green infrastructure initiatives (bioswales, permeable pavements)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Class A CDL required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and irregular hours
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Pennsylvania Erosion & Sediment Control certification a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly
