Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and lifting heavy materials.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment such as rollers, sweepers, and dump trucks under supervision.
- Assist in street maintenance activities, including pothole repair, pavement patching, and striping.
- Collect and transport waste, debris, and recyclables to designated disposal sites.
- Perform snow and ice removal during inclement weather to ensure public safety.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines while on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service truck and equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and at various times of day.
- Basic knowledge of construction and public works operations is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
