Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and parks.
- Operate heavy equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Control traffic flow using signs, cones, and barriers to ensure worker and public safety.
- Assist with storm drain cleaning, landscaping, and waste management duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push objects weighing up to 50+ pounds frequently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
