Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and park facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in construction projects including concrete pouring, asphalt laying, and utility installations
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues to supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient project completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction/public works or related field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
