Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, compactors) for infrastructure projects
- Install/maintain storm drainage systems and irrigation networks
- Perform concrete work including forming, pouring, and finishing
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance
- Assist in road construction, sidewalk repairs, and public space enhancements
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Document daily progress and submit field reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of municipal construction standards and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
