Responsibilities
- Execute heavy equipment operations (excavators, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform asphalt/concrete repairs and utility maintenance tasks
- Conduct site safety inspections and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Operate power tools and machinery for construction/landscaping projects
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and project documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- 1+ years construction/labor experience preferred
