Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for federal clients.
- Support the management of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST and CMMC compliance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade and modernize legacy systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Ensure all systems adhere to strict federal regulations and security protocols.
- Document technical configurations and operational procedures for compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT environments or defense contracting.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Network+.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) in a government context.
- Ability to obtain IAT Level 3 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
