Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and server health during night shifts.
- Perform system patching, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
- Respond to critical help desk tickets and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
- Conduct security audits and access control checks to prevent unauthorized activity.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs of all night operations.
- Collaborate with Day Shift teams to ensure seamless handover of ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends.
- Familiarity with Federal IT security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- U.S. Citizenship required for Federal contracts.
