Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage critical infrastructure projects and ensure data integrity for state operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the state agency network infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor strict cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive citizen data and government systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy government software and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and training for departmental staff and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to federal and state IT regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure or system administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CCNP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, virtualization, and cloud computing technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
