Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions to support state agency operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scopes.
- Ensure all technical projects comply with state and federal regulations, including security and privacy standards.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize infrastructure efficiency.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT support staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party software implementation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and enterprise architecture.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II Background Investigation (FBI Fingerprint Check).
