Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure projects including road repairs, drainage systems, and park maintenance
- Operate light machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors)
- Assist in traffic control and site safety protocols
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized work zones
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document work progress and report safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic construction methods
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Prior public works or construction experience preferred
