Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for federal contracts, from initiation through closure, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, agency policies, and compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DOD directives).
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with government stakeholders, including program managers and technical leads.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation to senior leadership.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal project management or a related government contracting role.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one immediately.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Primavera).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with diverse audiences.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly desirable.
