Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from pre-award to closeout, ensuring strict adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific guidelines.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, analysts, and administrative staff, to deliver complex IT and operational solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for federal clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and managing expectations effectively.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with security protocols (e.g., FISMA).
- Prepare accurate reports and briefings for senior leadership and government oversight committees.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal project management or contract administration.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of federal acquisition processes, FAR, and ITIL best practices.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
