Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of municipal technology projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and city stakeholders, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical teams and non-technical government officials.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, specifically within the government or public sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and contract management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
