Responsibilities
- Adjudicate complex immigration applications including citizenship, naturalization, and visa petitions
- Conduct in-person and virtual applicant interviews to verify eligibility and assess credibility
- Analyze legal documentation and make determinations under federal immigration statutes
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on security-sensitive cases
- Prepare detailed written decisions and maintain accurate case records
- Provide guidance to applicants and legal representatives regarding application requirements
- Stay updated on policy changes and procedural updates affecting adjudications
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal documents and make sound judgments
- Experience interviewing individuals and assessing credibility in professional settings
- Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures preferred
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable for Miami-based position
