Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including servers, networks, and databases
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot complex IT issues
- Coordinate system upgrades and ensure compliance with federal IT standards
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular system backups
- Collaborate with federal partners on IT integration projects
- Document system configurations and maintain technical documentation
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
