Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure supporting VA healthcare operations
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for clinical and administrative systems
- Conduct system vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Experience with VA VistA system or federal healthcare IT platforms preferred
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
