Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Provide technical support and training to federal employees
- Coordinate system upgrades and integration projects
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal IT standards
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Collaborate with cross-agency IT teams on security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent clearance
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization
- Strong knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
