Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems including networks, servers, and cloud solutions
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for critical healthcare IT applications and electronic health records
- Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure system compliance with federal security standards (FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization projects and system integrations
- Analyze system performance metrics and optimize IT resource utilization
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in federal IT operations
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Proficiency with ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices
