As a key member of our Technology Services Division, you'll oversee complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with city goals and compliance with government regulations. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and security of systems serving 500,000+ residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for enterprise IT initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, vendors, and department stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (FISMA, NIST, HIPAA)
- Develop detailed project documentation including SOWs, risk assessments, and status reports
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive presentations
- Implement quality assurance processes and post-project evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive IT project management experience in government/public sector
- PMP, CSM, or PgMP certification required
- Proven expertise with enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
