Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain robust network security protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM tools and respond to breaches within SLA
- Develop and update security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Lead incident response coordination during security emergencies
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in Windows/Linux system hardening and network defense
- Experience with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 compliance
- Strong knowledge of DODI 8500.2 policy framework
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
