Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure of federal IT initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with agency goals and compliance with federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership effectively.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and drive consensus on technical requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management within a federal or government environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
