Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure solutions for government clients.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in real-time.
- Enforce security protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Provide advanced technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes through technology.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee IT procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity within the government or defense sector.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is required.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, GSEC, or Security+.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
