Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for government IT contracts, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress to identify and mitigate risks.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and government officials to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Manage scope changes and requirements gathering, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular status meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred; strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies required.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the government or defense sector.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and IT security compliance (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
