Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls across federal IT systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DHS security frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture design
- Manage security monitoring tools and analyze threat intelligence

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of IT security experience in federal/government environment
- Security+ CE, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls and FISMA compliance
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
