Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and incidents
- Develop incident response protocols for federal systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage access controls and identity management systems
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security tools (SIEM, firewalls)
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and CMMC compliance
- Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
