Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security protocols for classified DoD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on military networks
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems 24/7
- Develop incident response plans and lead cybersecurity breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP standards
- Collaborate with DOD and Space Force teams on security architecture
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network security or incident response
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in Windows/Linux system administration
- Experience with DoD RMF and JPAS processes
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
