Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures for federal networks and systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Monitor system security alerts and respond to incidents using NIST compliance standards.
- Enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and clearance management.
- Develop and update incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to ensure security posture aligns with agency objectives.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI (Secret/SCI).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or defense contracting.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Deep knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD cybersecurity regulations.
