Role Overview
The selected candidate will provide technical expertise, network administration, and cybersecurity support to federal clients. You will ensure the integrity, availability, and security of mission-critical systems while adhering to strict federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and secure on-premise and cloud-based federal infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies to meet FISMA compliance.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IT solutions for federal agencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network topology, and incident reports.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential outages or security breaches.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or a related technical field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Compliance: Strong understanding of NIST frameworks, CIS controls, and federal security regulations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
