Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the lifecycle of federal IT infrastructure and network environments.
- Implement and enforce rigorous cybersecurity protocols, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues with critical time sensitivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate modern cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed records of system configurations for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT systems administration.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one within 30 days (Secret/Top Secret preferred for some roles).
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server environments and Linux administration.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder briefings.
