Responsibilities
- System Administration: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and networks for federal agencies.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, including NIST standards and agency-specific regulations.
- Project Leadership: Lead technical teams in the development and deployment of software solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
- Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure optimal service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2 years in a federal or government environment.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or higher certification is required; CISSP or PMP is a strong plus.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible for a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS/Azure), virtualization, and modern programming languages (Python/Java).
