Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, integration, and maintenance of complex federal information systems. You will work in a collaborative environment to ensure our IT infrastructure meets rigorous federal standards and supports mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex federal information systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal security regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal architectures.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and support on federal projects.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in federal IT environments or similar large-scale enterprise systems.
- Experience with federal cybersecurity frameworks and ITIL best practices is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required Federal security clearance.
