Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems to support federal agency operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols in compliance with federal regulations (FISMA).
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and external partners.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment; ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
