Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance for federal information systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk management activities to ensure 100% compliance with federal standards.
- Monitor system logs and security alerts to identify and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff on cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on security posture to senior leadership and external oversight agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new software development lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 1 year of specialized IT experience (equivalent to GS-9 level) in the analysis, design, and development of information systems.
- Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with FedRAMP authorization processes and CIS Controls.
- Strong understanding of FISMA compliance requirements and NIST frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
