Responsibilities
- Network Management: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and wide area network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- System Administration: Configure and manage servers, firewalls, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Security Implementation: Implement and enforce security protocols, including VPNs, endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding hardware and software issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Project Collaboration: Assist in the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to network outages and critical technical incidents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in network administration, system engineering, or IT support.
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments is required.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Licensure: Valid Driver’s License required.
