Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, operating systems, and virtualization environments.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal departments.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect state data and systems from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
- Document technical configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems administration or technical support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
