Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure for state agencies.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to internal staff and end-users.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy technology solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to ensure optimal operation.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP), VPNs, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to obtain necessary government security clearances.
