Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex computer systems and networks within the state agency.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade software applications to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor system performance and implement security measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and implement solutions.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and system changes for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL databases.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances as required by state regulations.
