Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architectures for federal and state clients.
- Oversee daily IT operations and ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical systems.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and vulnerability assessments to meet NIST and FISMA compliance standards.
- Lead cloud migration projects using Azure and AWS to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex IT environments.
- Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure adherence to federal procurement and data privacy regulations.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions on emerging security trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government IT environments or federal contracting.
- Certification in CISSP, PMP, or CompTIA Security+ is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and SQL for system automation and data analysis.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
