Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, databases, and virtualization environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and upgrade IT systems and applications.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and regulatory adherence for all state information systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document technical procedures, create user guides, and provide training to staff on new technologies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role within a government or enterprise environment.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
