Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets within the Service Desk system to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist in the administration of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
- Conduct regular system health checks and apply necessary patches and updates.
- Collaborate with the IT Security team to enforce compliance and protect county data.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
