Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal employees and federal clients.
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data security and integrity.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and application software.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure maximum uptime.
- Provide technical training and guidance to non-technical staff members.
- Document all technical procedures and user interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent technical training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant security clearance or willingness to undergo background checks is a plus.
